We are seeking a highly skilled Actuary to join our team in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. As an Actuary, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and estimating reserves for our insurance products.

The ideal candidate will have strong reserving experience or knowledge of reserving methods and techniques. They will be able to apply various reserving methods and techniques to estimate liabilities, such as loss development, loss ratio, and loss triangle analyses.

The successful candidate will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions. They will be able to effectively communicate actuarial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and estimate reserves for P&C insurance products.
  • Apply various reserving methods and techniques to estimate liabilities.
  • Conduct research and stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to reserving.
  • Prepare and present actuarial findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics.
  • Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 8-9 CT actuarial exams.
  • At least 5yrs+ Actuarial experience in the P&C insurance industry.
  • Strong reserving experience or good knowledge of reserving methods and techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, VBA, SAS, and other relevant tools for data analysis and modeling.
