AS400 Tester Role

Are you a seasoned engineer with a passion for technical excellence? We are seeking a highly skilled AS400 tester to join our organization.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is well-versed in AS400, Property & Casualty (P&C), Insurance, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills and a strong background in software testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test Design and Execution: Design and execute test cases for IBM i-based applications on the AS400 platform. Ensure that tests are comprehensive, efficient, and meet organizational standards.
  2. Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual and automated testing across functional and technical layers, ensuring consistency and traceability across test environments and data sets. Identify defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  3. System Integration and UAT: Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing, analyzing test outcomes using cognitive and analytical techniques to drive improvements. Share expertise in SQL queries and P&C domain knowledge.
  4. Quality Assurance: Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall quality. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software products.

What We Look For:

  • 4-8 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the insurance or financial industry.
  • Strong technical skills in AS400, P&C, Insurance, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and SQL.
