Technical Lead - Software Engineering

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to oversee the development and scaling of our software systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy and ensuring that our software is secure, reliable, and scalable.

About the Role

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy robust software systems.
  • Define and maintain technical direction for microservices-based systems and event-driven architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategy with business goals.
  • Develop and implement best practices in API-driven development, cloud infrastructure, and data management.
  • Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and incident response processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in Node.js, ReactJS, and API design (GraphQL, REST).
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Easyecom, Clickpost, etc.).
  • Knowledge of working with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and distributed data systems.
  • Expertise with AWS and GCP cloud environments, including container orchestration, serverless, and event-driven services.
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices in CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to nurture talent, improve processes, and build a culture of excellence.
