Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and maintain database systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Daily tasks include performing regular backups, restoring databases when needed, replicating data across different systems, troubleshooting issues, and designing new databases to support various applications.

This position requires strong skills in database administration, design, and management. The ideal candidate should be able to replicate databases, ensure data integrity, and troubleshoot database-related problems with ease.

Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Responsible for managing and maintaining database systems, including database backup and restoration, replication, and troubleshooting.
  • Database Design: Designs new databases to support various applications, ensuring they meet the requirements of the business.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifies and resolves database-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Communication: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database are highly desirable.
