Job Title: Database System Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Database System Administrator to join our team. As a Database System Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • DATABASE ADMINISTRATION: Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server database administration and maintenance in Windows/Linux environment with proficiency in backups, restore, user management, and securing the database environment.
  • REPLICATION AND HIGH AVAILABILITY: Working experience in configuring master/slave replication with failovers and recovery scenarios.
  • CLOUD DATABASE MIGRATION: Experience with on-prem to cloud database migration.
  • CLOUD ENVIRONMENT: Experience working on cloud environments (preferably AWS).
  • UPGRADE, PATCHING AND MAINTENANCE: Hands-on experience with upgrade, patching, and maintenance of PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server databases.
  • PFORMANCE TUNING: Good experience in performance tuning of SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB database environment.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server database administration and maintenance.
  • Experience with replication and high availability.
  • Knowledge of cloud database migration and cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
