About the Position

This role supports our buying teams in executing and driving product lifecycle processes, including product ranging, induction, cost, retail, and promotions by interacting with suppliers and other departments.

  • Understand business needs in-depth and have a detailed understanding of our operational processes.
  • Assist with the annual supply base evaluation process review to improve the buy plan and provide greater value.
  • Document all Cost, Retail & Promotion requests to support category buyers in negotiations with suppliers.
  • Work with supply chain and trade planning teams to deliver great product availability across all stores.
  • Liaise with suppliers and technology teams to facilitate new product and supplier induction.
  • Support range changes execution as per plan.
  • BUILD and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Raise and recover retro reports on time.
  • PREpare accurate business reports and share them with buying managers and trade planning teams.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required by category buying managers.
  • Promote continuous improvement culture, carry out CI projects, and encourage innovation within the team.
