Job Title: Associate, Buying Operations

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our buying operations team in North America.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining internal trackers and databases.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders accurately and timely using relevant tools.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prioritize orders based on urgency, business needs, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain internal trackers and databases to monitor order statuses and delivery schedules.
  • Support the onboarding of new vendors by collecting required documents and setting up records.
  • Assist in generating reports on buying activity, order accuracy, and vendor compliance.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and clerical skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with a dynamic and resilient nature able to work and lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strict adherence to deadlines and routine problem-solving.
