Technical Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to perform infrastructure monitoring and maintenance, identify and resolve technical issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Maintenance and Monitoring: Regularly monitor CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other vital server parameters to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Error Reporting: Promptly report any performance issues or errors to the appropriate teams, ensuring that all incidents are documented and tracked.
  • Scheduled Task Management: Monitor scheduled tasks on the system to ensure they have been successfully completed and address any failures promptly.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical errors, collaborating with L2/L3 teams as needed to provide effective solutions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer support through email, Teams channel, and ticketing system, responding to new items/tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Initial Response: Update tickets with an initial response, gathering additional details from customers/end-users/other teams if required.
  • Issue Reproduction: Reproduce issues in testing environments and collaborate with L2 teams to resolve problems.
  • Required Skills:
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Should have had customer-facing experience of more than 3+ years, with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers.
  • Technical Background: Should have a technical background in Java, scripting, or similar technologies, with a solid understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
