Job Title: Assistant Manager, Internal Audit

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our internal audit and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating audits across the organization, ensuring the effective implementation of our governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Active involvement in audits and financial monitoring reviews throughout the year.
  • Planning, sampling, attending kick-off meetings, review meetings, and closure meetings for finalization of internal audit reports with external audit firms.
  • Preparing annual budgets and audit coverage scopes for all engagements.
  • Independently conducting financial reviews of projects supported by the organization, identifying areas of concern, and ensuring proper fund utilization.
  • Guiding teams and providing practical solutions to issues encountered by stakeholders.
  • Streamlining processes and assisting in the roll-out of standard operating procedures as required.
  • Rigorous follow-up with stakeholders for submission of data for closure of open audit paras, validating submissions, and formal closure with external auditors.
  • Maintaining real-time updated management information systems for open audit paras and sharing data with stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Continuous review of IT applications and systems used across the organization.
  • Interpretation of statutory and regulatory changes, assisting in defining policies to be implemented.
  • Preparing reports and presentations for management as required.
