Job Overview:

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team of senior analysts, analysts, and associates in providing techno-commercial research & advisory services in the chemicals & materials domain. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies, driving revenue and cost goals, and fostering excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive commercial frameworks and present effective solutions to clients with minimal senior team support.
  • Participate in business development tasks, marketing outreach programs, and develop industry/capability decks, white papers, thought papers, articles, case studies to support business growth.
  • Lead the development of a team of senior analysts, analysts, and associates providing techno-commercial research & advisory services in chemicals & materials domain, ensuring recruitment and nurturing of team members as needed.
  • Handle all client communication, including query resolution, kick-off calls, deliverable presentations, and feedback calls.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies, drive revenue and cost goals, and foster excellent communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical & material science or related fields, or equivalent experience. Preferably, a BE in Chemical Engineering with an MBA in Marketing/Operations.
  • At least six years of experience in business research or consulting engagements.
  • Prioritize primary research experience, train team members, and enhance their research skills. Primary research experience in pricing & cost analysis is preferred.
  • Manage end-to-end business research or consulting engagements, stay updated on recent industry happenings and challenge areas for the Chemicals and Natural Resource industry, and be aware of the latest trends like sustainability, biomaterials, carbon neutrality, resource optimization, circular economy, and digitization.
  • Proven experience in handling teams of qualified professionals.
  • Excellent knowledge of Market Analysis, Business Analysis, Technology Analysis, Competitor Intelligence, Management Frameworks, Advanced MS Office, Forecasting, and Business Writing.

  • Maintain self-organization, planning, maturity, and attention to detail.
