Job Title: Senior Structural Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our design projects and create world-class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments.

This is a dynamic role that requires strategic thinking and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business strategies, developing high-performance teams, and leading structural design projects from conceptualization to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of American and Canadian standards, as well as extensive experience in steel building design, diaphragm analysis, and foundation design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural design projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Analyze and design various steel structures, including pipe racks, platforms, superstructures, and foundations for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
  • Review geotechnical reports, analyze data, and provide comments/clarifications.
  • Review equipment vendor drawings and fabrication drawings.
  • Capture internal client requirements and advise on structural requirements to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to develop clash-free system designs.
  • Manage assigned scope within agreed schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor Quality, Budget, and Schedule KPIs for assigned projects.
  • Develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Masters in Structural Engineering (an added advantage).
  • Minimum years of working experience in EPC project environments.
  • Dynamic personality, eager to learn, and interested in a stable commitment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to travel to the United States to support inter-departmental initiatives.
