We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Operational Risk Management team.

About the Role

The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring effective operational risk management practices are embedded in our organization's day-to-day operations.

As a key member of the Events & Remediation team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners across various business units, functional areas, and geographies to identify, respond to, and resolve risk events and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of operational risk events to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and policy adherence.
  • Support the design, execution, and refinement of QA frameworks to promote transparency and accountability in event management processes.
  • Provide independent assurance, insights, and recommendations to strengthen operational risk management practices and drive a culture of control and accountability.
  • Prepare structured reports and dashboards highlighting QA observations, themes, and recommendations.
  • Identify trends in events associated with specific workstreams to detect potential systemic risks or control weaknesses within business unit processes.
  • Partner with Operational Risk Officers, Compliance teams, and business stakeholders to embed best practices and drive process improvements.
  • Assist in Audit and Regulatory activities as well as support the execution of audit findings.
  • Participate in administrative activities required to maintain issue and event scope within enterprise systems.
Requirements

This role requires:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Hive preferred.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.
