About the Position

The successful candidate will lead the company's next phase of growth, expanding markets, upgrading operations and technology, and building a high-performance culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end profit and loss (P&L) and value creation; set strategy, translate into roadmaps, and deliver outcomes.
  • Take enterprise-wide ownership across commercial, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, HR, IT, compliance, and ESG—working through empowered functional heads and Group shared services.
  • Drive market expansion with focus on Oil & Gas and new verticals; build channel/partner ecosystems in priority geographies.
  • Build a predictable order book and margin profile; negotiate long-cycle contracts and key accounts.
  • Modernize manufacturing: improve throughput, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), yield, and first-time-right quality; deploy capital expenditure (capex) with internal rate of return (IRR)/return on investment (ROI) discipline.
  • Lead digital/enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation; institutionalize data-driven governance.
  • Strengthen supply chain resilience—vendor development for alloys and strategic sourcing.
  • Establish a performance culture—clear key results areas (KRAs) and leadership bench, with safety and compliance as non-negotiables.
  • Represent the organization with customers, JV/tech partners, auditors, banks, and industry bodies; uphold brand and governance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 18+ years in B2B manufacturing/industrial engineering with demonstrated P&L ownership and scale-up results.
  • Track record in driving growth across domestic and international markets, securing large, multi-year contracts; Oil & Gas, manufacturing, or heavy engineering background preferred.
  • Strong command of plant operations, quality systems, supply chain, and capex deployment.
  • Solid financial acumen and stakeholder management.
  • People leader who builds accountable teams and a performance culture.
  • Education: Engineering + MBA/PGDM desirable.
