Job Role & Responsibilities:


  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Foster and strengthen relationships with BFSI companies to source Investment Banking business opportunities.
  • Build Senior-Level Networks: Establish strong connections with senior-level decision makers and deep networks within the BFSI space.
  • Advise BFSI and Corporates: Leverage relationships to advise on strategic capital raising decisions and value creation initiatives, including M&A, Capital Markets, and Private Markets.
  • Manage Relationships: Actively manage relationships across all levels at prospective and existing clients within the BFSI sector.
  • Deal Experience: Possess extensive deal experience in the BFSI sector through multiple engagements and executing transactions.
  • Transaction Execution: Demonstrate success in getting mandates, deal structuring, and executing Capital Market, M&A, and PE mandates.
  • Domain Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of multiple subsectors and businesses within the BFSI domain.
  • Team Management: Typically manage 4 team members.


Key Skills & Experience:


  • Qualifications: CA/MBA (Core Finance & Marketing) from reputable institutions.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Financial Knowledge: Knowledge of core finance, valuations, financial modeling, and financial statement analysis.
  • Business Development: Analysis of different sectors, preparation of pitch presentations, negotiations, and sourcing of mandates.
  • BFSI Understanding: Deep understanding and monitoring of Banks, Financial Services Institutions, Insurance, and Non-Lending franchises.
  • Relationship Building: Strong connections and relationships with BFSI companies, including access to decision makers and business development.
  • Capital Market Products: Knowledge and experience in all capital market products, including IPOs, FPOs, Rights Issues, QIPs, Private Equity, and M&A Advisory.
  • Origination Skills: Ideal candidate to have proven origination skills and a track record of origination activity evidenced by past deal activity.
  • Coordination Skills: Excellent coordination skills, ability to multitask, take quick decisions, handle crisis situations, and deliver quickly.
  • Senior-Level Interaction: Existing client relationships and ability to interact with senior-level teams at BFSI companies (preferably decision makers).
