Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on user stories and technical specifications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.
- Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution, with clear communication to developers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and actively contribute during sprint planning and story grooming.
- Ensure test coverage meets defined quality standards, including participation in test coverage analysis and reporting.
- Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc testing for risk-based feature validation.
- Participate in release readiness activities, such as test case reviews, documentation, and sign-offs.
- Refine and improve QA processes and best practices within the organization.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and support their technical and career development.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in software manual testing.
- Ability to analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in cross-browser and cross-device testing for web and mobile applications.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Browser stack, Confluence, or equivalents for test management and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
