Senior Automation Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to fill this position. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools.
The successful candidate will be proficient in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell, and have experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools.
They will also have a strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills, as well as experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.
- Initiated and developed from scratch a reusable common-lib module for UI steps, data-driven testing, SOAP/REST API, JSON parsing, AODA compliance, PDF test, ETL support, can be extended to Mobile UI testing
- Developed frameworks in Java (Maven) and JavaScript (Node.js), using Excel for test data and JSON for object repositories.
- Architected RAPID Automation Test Management Platform, a 24/7 self-sustaining system for executing automation regression test scripts
- Supporting REST API workflows with automated test case generation, JSON assertions, and data encryption.
About the Position:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
