Automation Tester

A successful Automation Tester will design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python. They will work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios. This includes writing and executing test cases to validate software functionality and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and best practices. Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios.
  • Write and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Use testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework for automation execution.
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with developers for resolutions.
  • Utilize Scala to interact with back-end systems or for custom test utilities.
  • Contribute to test planning, estimation, and reporting efforts.
  • Maintain documentation related to test strategies and processes.
