Automation Tester Role
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across multiple browsers.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and actively participate in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- Contribute to agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions to align testing efforts with development goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in test automation. A strong background in Playwright, particularly using JavaScript or TypeScript, is essential. Familiarity with Node.js, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions is also required.
A solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and REST APIs, is necessary for this role.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Exposure to performance testing or API testing tools will be considered an added advantage.
