Product Category Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing category strategies that drive business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product assortment plans that align with consumer demand and market trends.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to design campaigns and seasonal collections.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
- Own the P&L for the category, ensuring sales, margins, inventory, and marketing spends are optimized.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of experience in category management, buying/merchandising, or business strategy.
- Strong business acumen with experience in P&L ownership and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis tools.
- Ability to identify consumer trends and translate them into business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management.
- Prior experience in non-apparel categories such as beauty, electronics, or FMCG.
- Exposure to fast-paced startups, e-commerce platforms, or retail companies.
