About the role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our loan and cross-sell products expansion across rural and semi-urban markets. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in financial product distribution, particularly in lending, with a proven track record of managing sales teams, expanding market share, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand distribution and market share of loan and cross-sell products.
  • Promote the penetration of loan and cross-sell products in rural and semi-urban markets.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and ongoing training.
  • Energize team members to actively engage in the market to drive sales and product adoption.
  • Utilize tools like QR codes and Soundbox technology to enhance visibility and accountability.
  • Define market coverage, sales goals, and geographical territories for field teams.
  • Monitor sales quality and conduct performance reviews to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Maintain adherence to industry policies, regulatory guidelines, and sales processes.

Requirements:

  • 7-14 years of experience in lending, with expertise in digital loans, personal loans, and merchant loans.
  • Exposure to merchant lending and distribution experience, particularly in rural and semi-urban markets.
  • Proven track record in driving product distribution and managing sales teams within the lending industry.
  • Digital lending platforms and technology-driven sales processes are highly desirable.
