Job Description:

The Zonal Manager is a pivotal role in the organization, serving as the People Brand Ambassador and Talent Partner for the Business. The incumbent will be responsible for providing regular people interventions to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment management, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management processes.

    They will also lead hiring for critical leadership roles, niche, and volume-based roles, particularly in sales.

  • Employee Engagement & Retention:

    The Zonal Manager will conduct employee engagement surveys, implement action plans, and handle grievance redressal, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.

    They will drive initiatives to reduce attrition, especially among insurance sales staff, a high-turnover segment.

    Additionally, they will oversee induction training for new hires, talent retention & employee development initiatives, identify training needs based on business and individual goals, new hire assimilation, and driving employee engagement initiatives.

  • Compliance & HR Operations:

    The incumbent will ensure labor law compliance across branches in the zone, oversee timely payroll inputs, onboarding/offboarding processes, and HRIS accuracy.

    They will support internal audits, risk management, and statutory filings, handle governance, grievance redressal & conflict resolution, and employee communication & connect.

  • Strategic HR Partnership:

    The Zonal Manager will liaise with function heads and designate personnel to ensure critical planning and implementation of people strategies.

    They will coordinate and work with the team across all centers in the country.

  • You are tech-savvy, with expertise in using HRIS systems and other tools to streamline processes.
