Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Architect to lead our database strategy and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and architecting robust database solutions for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based database solutions using AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure Database, and GCP Cloud SQL.">
  • Lead MySQL database administration, performance tuning, and complex query optimization.">
  • Develop and review OS-level automation scripts for monitoring, maintenance, and deployment.">
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams for seamless integration.">
  • Ensure database security, compliance, and governance standards are met.">
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior DBAs and developers.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • 12+ years of professional experience in MySQL database administration and architecture.">
  • Proven expertise with cloud database solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).">
  • Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and advanced scripting (Bash, Shell, Python, or similar).">
  • Deep understanding of performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and experience handling large-scale, high-transaction databases.">
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing database teams or large projects.">
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.">
