Job Title: Database Architect


Our organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, architecture, and design, with a focus on Oracle databases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and administering database systems
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to administer, manage, and tune high-transaction production server environments on premises and in the cloud
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Exadata and database upgrade/migration
  • Ability to work with multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Job Benefits

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support for client databases, including RAC and non-RAC configurations, Active DataGuard, and partitioning on premises and in the cloud. They will also be responsible for database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning, as well as working with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT, and Prod databases.


Additional Information

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills, as well as good communication and soft skills. Experience in managing databases in AWS cloud environments and writing shell scripts is a plus. Oracle certification is also desirable.
