Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team.

  • This role will involve the overall administration, performance tuning, and security of database systems.
  • Collaboration with development, QA, and DevOps teams is crucial to ensure data availability, consistency, and integrity across environments.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in proactively monitoring and improving database systems to prevent outages and reduce security incidents.
  • A strong understanding of database architecture, backup and recovery strategies, replication, and failover techniques is essential.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining database systems – primarily MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience managing production systems, including large-scale, high-availability environments.
  • Strong expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Ability to manage and monitor large-scale production databases.
  • Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Technical Expertise:

  • MongoDB – hands-on experience is mandatory.
  • Kubernetes and AWS – must-have skills for deployment and orchestration.
  • SQL databases – good to have.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
