About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned planning professional to lead our team in Pune, India. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in building and executing strategic plans that drive business outcomes.

The successful candidate will have 12-15 years of deep operational experience and a strong understanding of supply chain processes and capabilities. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality operational plans to regional supply chain teams and driving the overall orchestration of global activities.

We require a leader who can build and lead a team of supply chain specialists, analysts, and other staff operating on shift patterns to cover global time-zones. The ideal candidate will have extensive end-to-end supply chain management experience and the ability to handle leading people and implementing groundbreaking changes.

  • Craft a new team, new capabilities, and digital tools to deliver real business value.
  • Build and lead strategic planning activity in the centre.
  • Deliver end-to-end integration of the planning activity in the build phase to embed new planning processes.
  • Drive process quality and standardisation in processes, tools, and capabilities.
  • Develop a team of supply chain specialists, analysts, and other staff operating on shift patterns to cover global time-zones.
  • Plan, supervise, and deliver operational targets to optimise cash and service targets (strategic and operational).

We are transitioning to a coordinated energy company and setting up a business and technology centre in Pune, India. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, using technology, and developing deep expertise.

The centre will be a core and connected part of our organisation, bringing together colleagues from various functions working together across different departments.

About You:

We are looking for someone with tried leadership capability and prior experience of working closely with businesses. A strong understanding of the business environment and practices is essential, as is excellent collaborative skills, a solution-oriented demeanour, and the ability to efficiently connect and influence senior stakeholders to an aligned view.

You must have a higher level degree or equivalent experience, such as a Master's Degree or equivalent professional qualification. Experience of working in a matrix structure is also desirable.
