Business Systems Manager Job Description

The Business Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of our organization by ensuring systemic accuracy and usability of sales tools.

  • This position acts as a liaison between IT Development and business functions to drive system enhancements to completion through business requirement gathering, documentation, prioritization, and testing in an Agile environment.
  • The Business Systems Specialist resolves Tier 2 support requests driving timely resolution for the end user.
  • This role demonstrates thorough understanding of role hierarchy, forecast hierarchy, and territory hierarchy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 tickets from sales users related to Salesforce, sales forecasting, and other sales tools.
  • The Business Systems Specialist drives all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction through timely follow-up, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and other team members.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and IT to research and resolve issues related to Salesforce and Clari.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, and Revenue Acceleration team to understand business requirements for systemic enhancements and then partner closely with IT Development for execution through an Agile environment.
  • Perform business requirement gathering, documentation, prioritization, and testing in an Agile environment.
  • Conduct change management for related system enhancements.
  • Project manage and provide direct support to Merger & Acquisition related Salesforce changes.
  • Utilize business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.
  • Balance relationships with multiple business teams for new solution features and technical support.
  • Perform regular SFDC data audits to ensure accuracy within the system.
  • Assist in scheduled maintenance of systems via data migrations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A thorough understanding of role hierarchy, forecast hierarchy, and territory hierarchy is required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other sales tools is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
