Job Title: Dairy Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME)

We are establishing a new dairy processing center and seek an experienced professional to lead its setup, commissioning, and operation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in dairy industry operations, plant management, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day activities such as milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance for the dairy processing center's establishment, including plant design and commissioning.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in collaboration with technical teams and vendors.
  • Establish supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Offer expertise in ERP integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish key performance indicators and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in dairy processing, operations, or plant management.
  • Proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
  • Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
