Key Finance Leadership Role

This leadership position oversees financial strategy and operational management of finance functions for banquet and catering businesses, ensuring compliance, profitability, and process excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning for banqueting and catering operations.
  • Lead and manage accounts payable/receivable, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Analyze P&L, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banqueting and catering projects.
  • Maintain statutory compliance with tax laws, GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Implement financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to the industry.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
  • Support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Mentor and supervise the finance team; drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
  • Manage vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
  • Conduct variance analysis, highlight cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree, with experience in hospitality/banqueting/catering.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
