About this Role

The Senior Audit Manager plays a pivotal part in executing and delivering all audit engagements assigned to them by the Chief Auditor and Directors.

Supporting the relevant Director, they deliver the audit plan through sub-portfolio ownership. Responsibilities include supporting the annual planning process and maintaining the audit risk universe.

  • Support the Director in managing the Global Financial Crimes portfolio.
  • Take ownership of an assigned sub-portfolio, including oversight and audit strategies for delegated elements of the Audit Universe.

The Senior Audit Manager will have extensive subject matter expertise and a clear ambition for further professional development, including leading, coaching, and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate accountability for delivering assigned audit work.
  • Ensure accurate and complete audit reporting and Management Information (MI).
  • Deliver continuous monitoring assignments across EMEA branches.
  • Evaluate principle financial crime and fraud risks.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Deliver insightful, fact-based, impactful, and robust audit reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in Financial Crime Internal Audit gained in the financial services industry.
  • Primary Businesses and Products experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current Financial Crimes rules, regulations, and expectations relevant to the business within the EMEA region.
  • Business fluency in English and international work experience.
  • Data analytics experience.
  • Agile auditing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
