Job Title: Senior Audit Professional

Department: Audit & Assurance

Reporting To: Partner or Senior Leader

Experience Required:

4–6 years in Statutory Audits with experience managing multiple teams and audit engagements.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Professional who can lead statutory audits from planning through final reporting, including management discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Audit Execution: Lead statutory audits, manage audit teams, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and auditing standards.
  • Multi-Team Management: Manage multiple teams under team leaders; responsible for staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Compliance & Technical Accuracy: Ensure alignment with accounting standards and auditing standards.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues.
  • Client Management: Own client relationships; act as the single point of contact for escalations, walkthroughs, and closure.
  • Risk-Based Auditing: Apply risk assessment methodology to focus audit effort on high-impact areas.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Tech-Driven Approach: Leverage audit tools, checklists, and digital documentation systems to improve turnaround time and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of statutory audit experience, preferably in audit firms.
  • Independent Operator: Must have a proven track record of independently closing audits without supervision.
  • Team Leader: Experience managing multiple teams and audit teams simultaneously.
  • Subject Matter Expert: In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards and financial statement preparation & review.
  • Strong Legal Acumen: Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Deadline-Oriented: High accountability, thrives under pressure, and delivers audits on time—every time.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong articulation for client presentations, board reporting, and team guidance.
