Senior Biostatistician Role

The Senior Biostatistician will lead the development and implementation of statistical methodologies for clinical research studies. This includes supervising biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers, providing expert statistical consultation, and reviewing proposed statistical designs.

  • Serving as a key member of cross-functional project teams to provide statistical expertise and guidance on study analysis plans and statistical programs.
  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex statistical problems, ensuring scientific integrity of research projects.
  • Providing methodological statistical research experience, including publication and/or presentation of work, to contribute to the advancement of statistical knowledge in clinical research.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Master's degree in biostatistics or a related field, or a Doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience with a Master's degree, or one year of experience with a Doctoral degree.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R, with expertise in data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team environment.
