Job Opportunity: Deputy Finance Manager

  • Position Overview: To manage the daily operations of finance, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting & Reporting:
    • Handle end-to-end accounting processes, including procurement to payment, revenue to revenue, and order to cash for respective units.
    • Ensure completion of accurate and timely monthly financial close, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
    • Deliver accurate financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
    • Reconcile financial accounts properly and lead the financial close review with leadership.
    • Run a cadence with internal teams to identify aging and take suitable actions.
    • Manage interim audits, due diligence, statutory audit, GST audits, etc.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Support specific units with end-to-end finance operational support.
    • Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for the specific unit.
    • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of results to the business.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Act as a single source of truth for numbers – key financial metrics and performance drivers.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and vendors.
  • Other Activities/Initiatives:
    • Familiarity with nodal account, payment gateway reconciliations, e-commerce transactions, etc. (desirable).
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and reporting software.
  • Candidate with experience in dealing with auditors and consultants is preferred.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel (Pivots, Lookup, Conditional Functions, Power BI, etc.).
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • High-energy individual with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
