Staff Accountant Job Overview

The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in our accounting team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly statements. This position involves assisting in bank, merchant, and credit card reconciliations, as well as other accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations with precision and speed
  • Reconcile and post merchant fee statements to maintain financial records
  • Filing and recording documents and receipts in a secure and organized manner
  • Other duties assigned by management to support the overall accounting process
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory
  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Field is preferred if additional to CA qualification
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification is also acceptable
