Job Title: Equity Researcher

Equity research analysts play a pivotal role in supporting investment managers make informed decisions about their portfolios. A leading global wealth management platform is expanding its investment research team in Mumbai and hiring for three distinct equity research analyst roles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain coverage of listed companies within assigned sectors.
  • Develop and update detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
  • Track sector trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic drivers.
  • Generate differentiated, actionable investment ideas for buy-side portfolios.
  • Collaborate with the chief investment officer and portfolio managers on strategy and stock selection.
  • Prepare research reports and present insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Participate in earnings calls, analyst meets, and management interactions.

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of equity research experience (buy-side preferred; sell-side considered).
  • Sector expertise or flexibility depending on the mandate.
  • Strong modeling, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai.
