Job Title: Chief Financial Reporting Officer
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for an accounting professional responsible for preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role.
The individual in this position will work independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements and credit card statements
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
