We are seeking a seasoned Plant Human Resources Specialist to lead the end-to-end HR function at our Ambattur plant.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong HR generalist with experience in managing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: End-to-end recruitment for all plant-level roles, liaising with local contractors/labor vendors for manpower supply, conducting employee onboarding and induction sessions
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Addressing grievances of workmen and staff, driving employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities, maintaining healthy industrial relations with contract workers and unions (if applicable)
  • Payroll & Compliance: Coordinating with finance/vendor for timely payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, etc.), managing statutory returns, inspections, and audits
  • HR Operations: Maintaining employee records, attendance, leave management, preparing HR MIS reports on a regular basis, handling documentation related to offer letters, confirmation, separation, etc.
  • Performance & Training: Supporting performance management processes, identifying training needs and organizing skill development sessions

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Plant HR functions (preferably in a manufacturing setup)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently
