About the Job:
The Network Operations Center Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining our organization's network systems and services 24/7.
They must be able to detect, diagnose, and resolve network incidents and service interruptions in a timely manner.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network systems, servers, and telecommunications infrastructure
- Detect and resolve network incidents and service interruptions
- Escalate complex issues to Tier II III support or relevant departments
- Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in a ticketing system
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including updates and system checks
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to their improvement
- Support configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network devices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- CCNA certification is required
- 1-3 years of experience in network system monitoring or IT support
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- Experience with monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in working within SLA and incident management frameworks
