Senior Fundraising Strategist

A dynamic opportunity to develop and execute fundraising strategies for a prestigious institution with a rich history of over 90 years.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for securing large-ticket donations from HNIs, alumni, and philanthropists for a multidisciplinary sports complex. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing high-value donations and possess exceptional networking, relationship-building, and persuasion skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure large-ticket donations (₹20 lakhs to ₹1 crore+) from HNIs, alumni, and philanthropists.
  • Identify and create an extensive database of HNI/potential donors using wealth intelligence tools and personal networks.
  • Establish and track fundraising goals, reporting through donor tracking, engagement, and donation metrics to management at regular intervals.
  • Craft powerful pitches, proposals, and presentations for prospects, driving successful closures.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to create high-impact events and experiences for prospects.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, donor meetings, and sector gatherings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, social sciences, or related fields.
  • 7-10 years of experience working with HNIs/UHNI/CSR in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.
  • Proven track record of securing high-value donations from HNI/UHNI/Foundations/Grants.
  • Exceptional networking, relationship-building, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual - Tamil/English).
