Job Title:

Biozone Sales Director

  • Manage a team of 35+ sales professionals, including 6-8 direct reports (Regional Sales Managers, Sales Account Executives, and Sales Development Executives).
  • Lead the team to achieve revenue targets, manage zone performance, provide accurate sales forecasts, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales volume, execute promotional activities, and evaluate new sales techniques.
  • Design and recommend sales programs, set short- and long-term sales strategies, and arrange product samples for evaluation.
  • Plan and visit customers, focus on adding new bundling customers, and ensure compliance with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and brand advocates in assigned zones.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on major events and ensure speaker availability.
  • Represent the organization at important conferences and ensure collection within credit terms and DSO norms.
  • Regularly attend company review meetings, product trainings, and sales trainings.
  • Travel for a minimum of 15 days per month across assigned zones.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Pharma, preferably with a Master's in Business Administration.
  • 15-20 years of experience in handling ophthalmic and vision care products, with a proven track record of sales performance.
  • Experience in selling capital equipment, consumables, and diagnostics in institute and government businesses.
  • Knowledge of advanced technologies, such as IOLs and equipment.
  • Reporting and analytical tools, like Salesforce and SAP.
  • Excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
