Job Title:
Biozone Sales Director
- Manage a team of 35+ sales professionals, including 6-8 direct reports (Regional Sales Managers, Sales Account Executives, and Sales Development Executives).
- Lead the team to achieve revenue targets, manage zone performance, provide accurate sales forecasts, and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales volume, execute promotional activities, and evaluate new sales techniques.
- Design and recommend sales programs, set short- and long-term sales strategies, and arrange product samples for evaluation.
- Plan and visit customers, focus on adding new bundling customers, and ensure compliance with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and brand advocates in assigned zones.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on major events and ensure speaker availability.
- Represent the organization at important conferences and ensure collection within credit terms and DSO norms.
- Regularly attend company review meetings, product trainings, and sales trainings.
- Travel for a minimum of 15 days per month across assigned zones.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Pharma, preferably with a Master's in Business Administration.
- 15-20 years of experience in handling ophthalmic and vision care products, with a proven track record of sales performance.
- Experience in selling capital equipment, consumables, and diagnostics in institute and government businesses.
- Knowledge of advanced technologies, such as IOLs and equipment.
- Reporting and analytical tools, like Salesforce and SAP.
- Excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
