**Executive Director, Product Development**

At our organization, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Product Development to lead the development of new products for local supply. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Printing Technology or Textile Engineering, as well as a good knowledge of the industry. They will be responsible for identifying cost-effective methods for product development, providing on-time estimates with the best production capability, and initiating product re-engineering to stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new products and customers through effective market analysis and strategic planning.
  • Resolve customer queries related to product development in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the pricing of products by analyzing market trends and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Maintain a business focus at all times, responding to internal customers' inquiries and requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Work within agreed service levels, striving to exceed organizational expectations and deliver high-quality results.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts, proactively following up with Hub (overseas) and internal departments to set up articles/products efficiently.
  • Ensure all queries are resolved within stipulated timeframes, escalating issues if necessary to the Team Leader.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to agreed standards of quality and productivity, processing developments with a minimum 99% accuracy rate after proper validation.
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and analysis activities to facilitate continuous improvement in cost reduction through re-engineering.
  • Update relevant documents and Oracle with at least 99% accuracy after collecting costing from the Finance department.
  • Sensitize client requirements and prioritize developments accordingly.
