Job Title: Associate – Litigation

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our litigation team in Mumbai. The role involves working closely with senior lawyers and clients on diverse litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective representation.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional drafting and legal research skills, with attention to detail and analytical thinking. They should also possess in-depth knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures, as well as strong communication and client-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, and other legal documents with precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare case notes, opinions, and briefs that meet the highest standards.
  • Appear confidently before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities, representing our clients with expertise.
  • Assist in strategy formulation and case preparation, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Liaise effectively with clients and keep them updated on case progress, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Ensure compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines, guaranteeing seamless case management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams for case-related support and documentation, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional drafting and legal research skills, with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures, with ability to apply them effectively.
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills, with empathy and interpersonal understanding.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Attention to detail with sound problem-solving ability, navigating complex cases with ease.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE:

  • Law graduate with 1–3 years of relevant litigation experience, demonstrating growth and potential.
  • Enrolled with the Bar Council, showcasing commitment to professional development.
  • Prior exposure to civil, commercial, or regulatory litigation preferred, but not required.
