Valuation Analyst Position

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in the field of financial valuation, where you will be responsible for analyzing and valuing businesses, intangible assets, and other complex financial instruments.

  • You will be working closely with senior team members to develop and implement valuation models, conduct financial statement analysis, and prepare reports for clients.
  • A key aspect of this role will be your ability to analyze historical financial data, identify trends, and make informed predictions about future financial performance.
  • You will also be required to communicate your findings effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, including clients and senior management.

In order to be successful in this position, you will need to have a strong foundation in finance and accounting, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial valuation, preferably in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of financial valuation theory and methodologies, including traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and transaction method.
  • Experience in valuing contingent consideration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases and high-level tools such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
