Investment Banking Executive

We are seeking a seasoned investment banking professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in M&A, fundraising, and corporate finance.

About the Role

  • This is an opportunity to lead end-to-end transaction management, including due diligence, negotiations, regulatory filings, and closing documentation.
  • The successful candidate will execute deals across various sectors, including M&A, private equity, venture capital, ECM, and DCM.
  • A key responsibility will be building and managing investor relationships with VCs, PEs, family offices, corporates, and angel networks.
  • Pitch decks, CIMs, business plans, teasers, and financial models for fundraising will need to be prepared.
  • Conducting deep sector research (technology, infrastructure, healthcare, manufacturing, BFSI, etc.) to identify opportunities will be required.
  • Delivering impactful presentations at investor forums, conferences, and client discussions will be a critical aspect of this role.
  • Collaboration with legal, tax, and compliance teams for seamless deal structuring and execution will also be necessary.

Key Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling, valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), and deal structuring is essential.
  • Expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, IPOs, and debt/equity instruments is required.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills for financial models and investor decks are necessary.
  • Excellent market research, business due diligence, and sector analysis skills are crucial.
  • Proven ability in client relationship management and business development is essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

  • An MBA/PGDM in Finance/Strategy from Tier-1 B-schools is preferred.
  • Chartered Accountant / CFA (USA) / FRM certification is a strong advantage.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Business Administration is required.
  • 8–10 years of investment banking, corporate finance, or financial advisory experience with a proven track record is essential.
