Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Description
  • Lead a sales team to augment the network of financial institutions and direct channel business.
  • Build strategic partnerships with Universal Banks, NBFCs, NBFC-MFIs, Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks to provide financial products and services for partners.
  • Develop business development strategies on alliances with various financial institutions.
  • Innovate and develop retail asset products to suit target customers and geographies.
  • Improve market share through effective sales strategies and identify potential areas for expansion.
  • Enable business growth by managing teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration.
  • Assess client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion.
  • Ensure business growth and diversity of products as per business plan.
  • Establish support functions to facilitate appraisal, documentation, disbursement, repayment and delinquency management.
  • Formulate collection strategies and preventative measures to maintain quality portfolio.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relationship management, business sourcing & portfolio management,
  • Strong understanding of credit underwriting,
  • Knowledge of legal and governance requirements,
  • Good acumen of technology and automation, Business planning and product management
