About the Role:

This position involves delivering end-to-end remote support for conference rooms and audio-visual systems to ensure seamless operations for global meetings, events, and webcasts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Services:
    • Assist with scheduling, modifying, and canceling conferences and webcasts, ensuring timely execution.
    • Manage the associated service mailbox, providing efficient communication.
    • Analyze performance metrics to optimize system usage.
    • Respond to AV and webcasting-related service tickets, resolving issues promptly.
    • Monitor support queues for current and upcoming AV technologies and webcast incidents.
    • Elevate complex issues to Level 3 support or manufacturer/vendor teams.
    • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of training and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Video Call and Webcast Support:
    • Ensure all video endpoints are online and operational before meetings and events.
    • Manage incident response during live calls and webcasts, providing expert assistance.
    • Prepare and execute webcast events, including creating event pages and conducting dry runs.
    • Monitor live webcasts and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
    • Report viewer metrics during and after events, analyzing engagement.
    • Distribute recorded on-demand copies of webcast sessions efficiently.
    • Coordinate technology schedules to guarantee successful meetings.
    • Webcast Video on Demand Services:
    • Create and manage VOD directories for users, streamlining content access.
    • Administer user groups and multimedia storage on the network, ensuring security.
    • Troubleshoot uploaded VOD content issues, resolving problems quickly.
    • Provide training on new and existing video technologies to users.
    • Furnish streaming metrics and analytics for hosted videos.
  • Commissioning Services:
    • Configure Cisco codecs and encoders for seamless integration.
    • Test endpoints and network devices to ensure optimal performance.
    • Verify configuration files for disaster recovery readiness.
    • Support commissioning and decommissioning of conference rooms and AV equipment.
    • Certify and troubleshoot room configurations.
  • Application Support:
    • Offer Level 1 and Level 2 support for applications like MS Teams, Miro, and Vbrick.
    • Collaborate with Product Engineers to resolve application issues.
    • Elevate critical issues to Level 3 engineering for swift resolution.
    • Train users on application usage and provide remote guidance.
    • Manage support tickets within the ticketing system efficiently.
    • Grant access requests and maintain support documentation up-to-date.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in AV support, video conferencing, and webcast management.
    • Familiarity with Cisco Video Codecs and related AV/IT infrastructure.
    • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with ticketing systems and documentation management.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of webcast and streaming platforms.
    • Experience with AV commissioning and room setup.
    • Ability to train users on AV technologies.
