Job Opportunity: Share Transfer and Demat Operations Professional

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional to handle share transfer and dematerialization processes.

  • Responsibilities include scrutinizing, validating, and documenting physical share transfer requests in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • The ideal candidate will undertake fieldwork, including visits and documentation collection related to transfer and demat activities.
  • He/she will coordinate with Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs) for timely processing of share transfer and dematerialization requests.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of investor holdings, transfer applications, dispatch details, and demat transactions is also essential.
  • The selected candidate will address shareholder queries and issues related to transfer ownership or demat rejections.
  • A strong understanding of SEBI regulations and internal compliance protocols is necessary.
  • Liaison with Company Secretaries and legal teams for validation and execution of legal documents pertaining to share transfers is required.
  • Preparation and submission of periodic reports and MIS on shareholding patterns, transfer statuses, and pending cases is an important responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Commerce/Finance; candidates with an MBA will be preferred.
  • Relevant experience in share transfer and demat operations (1-3 years).
  • Familiarity with NSDL/CDSL platforms and a solid understanding of SEBI regulations.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Actions such as Bonus, Split, and Transmission.
  • Experience in handling investor grievances via the SEBI SCORES portal.
  • Strong skills in documentation, record keeping, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
