Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development within the region. Your primary objective will be to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and deliver exceptional results that meet or exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. To lead the growth of product departments across various locations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Secure mandates from financial institutions, government agencies, and other organizations by building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
  3. Develop and maintain a network of contacts across PSU and Private Banks, FIs, NBFCs, and other relevant entities.
  4. Collaborate with execution teams to execute mandates efficiently and effectively.
  5. Act as a single point of contact for clients, providing timely support and resolving any issues that may arise.
  6. Stay abreast of market trends and developments, leveraging this knowledge to drive business growth.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating sectoral knowledge
  • Keeping bankers updated on new research reports and insights published by the organization
  • Achieving targets set for specific timeframes
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

a) Proven experience in business development for advisory reports

b) Strong connections with PSU Banks and Private Banks

c) Excellent communication skills, including a pleasing personality

d) A minimum of 10 years' experience in business development within the financial domain

e) Ability to gather sectoral knowledge and share it with colleagues

f) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

g) Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills

h) Strong organizational and time management skills

i) Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
