Exide Energy Solutions Limited aims to address social issues related to energy, environment and resources by producing lithium-ion battery products. We are setting up India's first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru.

As part of our Cell R&D organization, we seek to design and develop NMC Cell technology to achieve our company goal. This role requires leading the Design and Development Team for NMC technology for various formats of battery cells manufactured in EESL Gigafactory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain adequate inventories of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs, and consumables in shopfloor according to production plans.
  • Issue materials from warehouses to production with help of materials handling equipment such as RGV, AGV, Forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, Stalkers, and Conveyors.
  • Allocate manpower for kitting/de-palletizing, palletising/packing, material issues, internal scrap movement, etc.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
  • Move various scrap (haz and non-haz) to defined areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders like production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, SCM, etc., to ensure business requirements fulfilled.
  • Ensure required entries and passed documents maintained as per standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to standards.
  • Maintain and issue PPEs and consumables.
