Senior Financial Strategist Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Strategist to lead our financial strategy and planning efforts for large-scale renewable energy projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy Development: Develop and lead the financial strategy for renewable energy projects, encompassing capital structuring and fund-raising through equity and debt instruments.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, financial institutions, investors, and rating agencies, to secure project financing on favorable terms.
  • Loan Negotiation: Negotiate competitive loan agreements for both short-term and long-term financing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Working Capital Management: Oversee working capital management, treasury operations, and cash flow planning to optimize financial performance.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and refinancing activities, aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to domestic and international financial regulations, maintaining a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial models, projections, and investment reports to senior management and stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Business Insights: Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team, empowering them to make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading financial strategy and planning for large-scale projects.
  • Networking Skills: Strong networking skills and ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
  • Financial Modeling: Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting, with experience in using relevant tools and technologies.
