Senior Analyst-Trade

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Analyst-Trade. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of transactions within the team, strict adherence to all procedures, controls, and governance, and assisting with the motivation and direction of the analysts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the smooth, accurate, efficient, and error-free running of the team
  • Checking and releasing work across the teams functions
  • Ensuring processing is effected in a team spirit and avoid silo-based attitudes
  • Retaining and promoting a customer-first attitude
  • Communicating with clients in a professional and helpful way

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years experience working in a trade finance operations environment
  • Experience in oversight of work flow, operation control, and responsibility of verification of work
  • Thorough understanding of all trade finance products
  • Knowledge of UCP600 and other relevant ICC publications
  • Knowledge of money laundering controls relevant to trade finance
  • Awareness of sanction policies
  • Microsoft Office products
  • Understanding of formatting Swift messages
  • Excellent work flow and time keeping management
